Founded in 1936, Kazan Synthetic Rubber Plant is one of the leaders of Russia petrochemical industry. Modern technologies combined with rich research and production experience enable the plant to produce unique high-quality products used in a diversity of industries of former USSR and other countries. The product range of the plant exceeds 160 items. We boast wide destination geography, counting more than 5,000 customers in Russia and abroad. Oriented at special rubber and derivative product manufacturing, we are permanently widening our product range. Our principal items include:
— sodium-butadiene rubber, which is obtained by butadiene polymerization and used for manufacturing general mechanical rubber goods, asbestos goods and abrasive materials;
— polysulfide oligomers. Kazan Synthetic Rubber Plant is the sole manufacturer of polysulfide rubbers in Russia, the only other two world manufacturers being Germany and Japan, which creates favorable prospects for the production. As hardened compound based on polysulfide oligomers features high construction-material adhesion level, gasoline and oil resistance, good UV ray and oxygen exposure resistance (such qualities being preserved for large periods of time in climatic zones with temperature drops from + 130°C to -60°C) , the products are widely used in aircraft construction, shipbuilding and motor car construction, electrical and radio industries, rocket and space-system engineering, civil and industrial engineering;
— polysulfide oligomer based sealants, which are fuel, gasoline and oil resistant and unaffected by sea water, tap water and distilled water. They are widely used in aircraft construction, shipbuilding and motor car construction, mechanical engineering, electrical and radio industries, rocket and space-system engineering, light industry and medicine, civil engineering, road construction and industrial engineering;
— silicone rubbers feature high heat, vibration and frost resistance, together with perfect dielectric behavior, hydrophoby, and ozone/oxidant resistance, Being completely non-toxic, they serve as feedstock for manufacturing rubber compounds, sealants, compounds, spark protection materials, auto adhesion tapes and rubberized fabric;
— rubber compounds based on siloxane rubbers (silicone compounds) have a number of unique qualities: high heat/frost resistance (-60 oC to + 300 oC) ; high performance properties and longevity; resistance to corrosive environment; high dielectric strength and mechanical durability; and perfect insulation properties. The materials are used in aircraft industry, fuel industry, medicine, food and beverage production, electrical engineering and power production, chemistry, including petrochemistry, etc.
— silicone compounds and sealants have a most valuable feature, that is, stability of performance properties under long usage with sharp temperature drops ( + 300 oC to -60 oC) , extra vibration, tropical climate and UV exposure. Used in aircraft industry, rocket and space-system engineering, instrument-making, electronic industry, shipbuilding, motor car construction, civil and industrial engineering, domestic services, and decorative arts;
— polyesters are used to manufacture urethane rubbers, wear-proof mechanical rubber goods, adhesive composition components and polyurethane foam;
— urethane rubbers are universal materials used to manufacture elastic, semi-rigid and rigid materials. Urethane rubbers are applied for products featuring durability, oil and gasoline resistance, good shock-absorbing properties, oxygen and ozone environment resistance, and unique wear resistance. Polyurethanes are processed by almost every existing technological method: extrusion, pressing, molding, and potting;
— latexes are used as binding polymers, enhancing performance properties of different materials in shoe board, tire, imitation leather, paints, filling, adhesives, etc.;
— silicone self-adhesive materials: Kazan Synthetic Rubber Plant is the biggest Russian manufacturer of exclusive products, such as LETSAR self-adhesive heat-resistant insulation tape and RETSAR heat-resistant insulation glass rubber-fabric, applied in electric engineering and other industries;
— gasket sealant for motor cars: Kazan Synthetic Rubber Plant was one of the first in Russia to manufacture gasket sealant for motor cars based on silicone rubber, now preserving a leading position with the biggest market share in Russia and CIS. A long-term leadership under strong business competition (including that with international manufacturers) was not only due to modern high-end technologies. Active innovation activity and releasing now promising car sealant models enable us to be one jump ahead;
— construction materials: we have long been involved in making high-quality knowledge-consumptive products enjoying high and stable demand in the construction industry: seam sealants, roof cladding, waterproofing roof mastics, and silicone paints. New construction materials are constantly being developed, with all up-to-date quality requirements taken into account.
